The Collective Newsroom is inviting applications for BBC India Trainee Scheme 2024-25 as part of its Diversity and Inclusion commitment. You will join the Collective Newsroom as a Digital Journalism Trainee, assisting in BBC News Gujarati.
You do not need any journalism experience before you start but you must be able to demonstrate your interest (for example, a qualification in journalism or a related subject).
You will be trained on digital journalism, including how to write for the website and social media platforms; as well as produce video across various platforms.
Should you complete your traineeship successfully, you will be skilled to apply for journalism roles within the Collective Newsroom and in other media organisations.
There is no guarantee of a job at the end of the scheme.
