ગાંધીનગર જિલ્લાના નિવૃત્ત કલેકટર શ્રી મેહુલ કે દવેએ 'રાષ્ટ્રનિર્માણમાં યુવાનોની ભૂમિકા' વિષયક વિચારપ્રેરક વ્યાખ્યાન આપ્યું હતું. તેમણે વિદ્યાર્થીઓને ભારતીય પરંપરા અને સંસ્કૃતિનો પરિચય કરાવીને રાષ્ટ્રનિર્માણ માટે જાગ્રત કર્યા હતા.

વિદ્યાશાખાના ડીનશ્રી પ્રો. અજય પરીખે ખાદીસૂત્રથી મેહુલભાઈ દવેનું સ્વાગત કર્યું હતું. માહિતી, પ્રત્યાયન અને પ્રૌદ્યોગિકી વિદ્યાશાખાના કમ્પ્યુટર વિજ્ઞાન વિભાગ, માહિતી અને ગ્રંથાલય વિજ્ઞાન વિભાગ, પત્રકારત્વ અને સમૂહ પ્રત્યાયન વિભાગના વિદ્યાર્થીઓ અને અધ્યાપકો હાજર રહ્યા હતા.
